Financial Spread Betting and CFD firm Capital Spreads have extended their market opening hours on Fridays so you can now trade until the US market closes.
All FX markets are now open from 4pm EST (9pm British Standard Time at the moment) on Sundays until 5pm EST (10pm British Standard Time at the moment) on Fridays. They’ve also extended the opening hours on a number of key commodities, including US and Brent Crude, Gold and Silver until 10pm on Fridays, while US indices, the UK 100, German 30 and Japan 225 are now tradable until 10.15pm on Fridays.
Many of the competitors close at 9pm on Fridays, so you’ll be able to benefit from an extra hour’s trading with Capital Spreads.
As a result of these extended open hours, please be aware that any stop-losses or limit-orders may be triggered up until this time.
Please note that many markets close earlier than normal on Friday 3 April for the Good Friday Easter public holiday.
